🛠️ How to Enable or Refine Enhanced Measurement
While automated tracking is convenient, default configurations can lead to duplicate tracking if you've already set up custom tag events.
To adjust these settings:
1. In GA4, go to Admin > Data collection and modification > Data Streams.
2. Select your Web stream.
3. Under the Enhanced measurement section, toggle the switch to enable it.
4. Click the Gear icon to customize settings:
* Site Search: If your tool site uses custom parameters (e.g. ?search_query=), add your parameter key under the additional query parameters field.
